The Forder Community & Conservation Association (FCCA) is a registered charity (
which was formed to protect the Forder Conservation Area for the benefit
of the general public and to help to preserve the environment.
Specifically, these aims are:
to provide facilities for recreation and leisure time occupation in the interests of social
welfare with the object of improving the conditions of life of the inhabitants of the Forder
Conservation Area, the surrounding area and associated members of the association, and the
preservation and protection of the natural environment and endangered species (plants and animals)
within the area of benefit,
to establish, manage and maintain a village hall either alone or in co-operation with any local
authority or other person or body, and
to promote such other charitable purposes as may from time to time be determined.
The association is non-party in politics and non-sectarian in religion.
